The "Roam Around The World" campaign was launched in early 2023. The essence of the campaign lies in Marriott Bonvoy's profound commitment to curating unforgettable and diverse travel experiences. Tasked with rejuvenating the brand's connection to a new audience, we envisioned a creator-led, social-first global campaign. This innovative approach harnessed the power of social media and tapped into social behaviors, becoming the driving force behind our creative narrative.
As Creative Director my role extended across the entire series of 7+ films, guiding the creative direction across print, social, digital, sound, and film platforms. At the heart of the campaign are reimagined covers of the timeless travelogue "Roam" by the B-52s, crafted in collaboration with the esteemed international music studio, Squeak E. Clean Studios. Taking charge of the sound mix, we introduced a distinctive and nostalgic meaning behind the 1989 global hit.
The campaign serves as both a nostalgic nod and a compelling call to travel. Embodying Marriott Bonvoy's unwavering commitment to surprising and delighting travelers with unexpected adventures - we gave a new audience more reason to book and experience hotel brands like The W Hotels, The Autograph Collection, The Westin, and The Moxy.
Creatively we developed an everlasting brand chassis helping to unify and define a global creative direction across a portfolio of 30 hotel brands. This contribution not only enhanced the individuality of each brand but also reinforced a cohesive and timeless artistic vision across the entire portfolio.
